Hartford Bus RentalHartford Tour Guide

Jul 30, 2013 - Elizabeth Park, Hartford

Parks are always a great place to go for a day of having fun in the sun, and literally just having a great time being carefree and without a care in the world. Somehow, there’s just something about being connected to nature, especially after a week’s of hard work in the home or office. Being confined within the space of a house or a cubicle in the office does no good to the body. Hence, a trip to the park on a regular basis does much good not just for the physical bodies, but also to the soul and mind too. And the trip to the park gets better when you don’t have to drive to the park, but that you get to charter a bus to take you there!

The Elizabeth Park at Hartford is said to be a haven for people who enjoys a stroll in the park and especially for those who love to jog in the midst of beautiful gardens. The park has a few gardens, a pond as well as sports and concert facilities – but the main attraction to this place is the rose garden. Those who have been to the park before knows that the park’s famous spot is the rose garden, which has about 800 varieties of roses – so you can imagine that if visitors who also loves roses were to come to the Elizabeth Park in a Hartford chartered bus, they’d probably be busy taking photos of the roses all day long!

If you are not so into taking photos of roses or flowers all day long, don’t worry, there is still other things that you can do while you are at the Elizabeth Park. Some people do bring their pet dogs for walks at the park (dog owners are required to clean up after their own dogs too, so you can be assured that the park is clean and well maintained), so if you are coming for a trip here and wish to bring your cute little pet dog, you can do so too – provided the chartered bus company allows you to have your dog in the bus, as some bus passengers may be allergic to dogs, so you may want to check that out first before you hop on the bus with your dog.

Spending a whole day at the park is a possible thing to do – especially when you get to pack and bring your own lunch and have a picnic right there in the park, or if you are too lazy to prepare food for the trip, there is always the Pond House Cafe that is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays, from 11am till 2:30pm for lunch and from 5pm till 9pm for dinner. On Sundays, the cafe is only open for brunch, that is from 10am till 2:30pm and they are closed on Mondays. Hence, if you are looking for a park to visit this weekend, why not call up the Hartford bus charter company and find out more about their bus services to the Elizabeth Park?
